the preschool care program at Bovan Creek
Our Preschool Room is a fun, purposeful space for children aged 3–5. It’s designed to spark curiosity, independence and school-readiness, with well-planned areas for role play, construction, small world and investigation, alongside a language-rich library corner and creative studio. Open-ended resources invite problem-solving and early literacy and maths through play, while daily outdoor learning builds coordination and confidence. Our practitioners scaffold learning in the moment, nurturing turn-taking, friendships and self-care skills so children are ready to thrive in Reception.

Preschool program
Our Preschool Programme for children aged 3–5 follows the EYFS, with Montessori-inspired elements that build independence, language, early maths and social confidence within calm, predictable routines—so children feel secure and ready for school.
Each day blends child-led discovery, practitioner-guided teaching and focused small-group time: inquiry projects, phase-appropriate phonics and early writing, maths through play, creative arts, construction and STEM, role play, stories and songs, and purposeful tidy-up and self-care.
Our Preschoolers enjoy learning outside every day to build coordination, resilience and a love of nature through movement, problem-solving and teamwork. With strong key-person relationships and a maximum of 10 children in the room, our educators give each child the attention they need to feel seen, stretched and supported. You’ll receive updates via our secure parent app and a friendly handover at pick-up, so you know how your child has eaten, rested, played and progressed.
